Northwood Office's Ballantyne portfolio continues to perform in 2024 amid ongoing market challenges. The Charlotte-based commercial real estate firm signed 33 new deals, renewals and expansions across more than 360,000 square feet at Ballantyne® between April and September.

New deals in the second and third quarters included Lennar Carolinas' 27,900-square-foot lease at the Calhoun Building; Allen Lund Co.'s 15,800-square-foot lease at the Crawford Building; Waste Connections' 12,600-square-foot lease at Overlook; and American Engineering's 10,850-square-foot lease at the Everett Building.

One of Northwood's largest clients, Premier, renewed its 146,000-square-foot lease at the Betsill Building. Premier has been in that space since 2011.

Kate Urey, Northwood's senior vice president of leasing and development, said renewals, especially ones like Premier, are often just as important as new lease deals.
